Consultation
A conference with our treatment coordinator to discuss your treatment plan.
Cephalometric X-rays
Radiographs taken of the head to show the alignment of the teeth and jaws and whether they are growing properly together.
Panoramic X-rays
Radiographs taken as a machine rotates around your head. This provides pictures of your teeth and jaws allowing us to determine the stage of development and the positioning of the teeth.
Orthodontic photograhs
A series of photographs, including intraoral photos of the position of the teeth and extraoral photos of the face and profile.
Impressions
By gently placing an impression tray filled with alginate material against your teeth, we are able to produce a mold or model of your teeth.
Banding
The placement of a metal ring on your back teeth to hold the braces on your teeth.
Bonding
The attachment of brackets to your teeth using a specially designed adhesive.
Orthodontic adjustment
An appointment where your progress will be evaluated and the wires or elastics may be changed to maintain progress in your treatment.
Debanding
The removal of your braces and the revealing of your beautiful smile.
