GETTING STARTED
During your first visit, we strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible. To help you become familiar with our office, we will give you a tour and introduce you to our orthodontic team. We will also perform a comprehensive orthodontic examination to determine what orthodontic treatment is necessary. Our doctors will work with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to meet their individual needs and desires. We will discuss and answer all your questions about the clinical, financial and procedural aspects of your treatment. As soon as you are comfortable with your treatment plan, we will schedule your diagnostic records appointments, which will include a series of X-rays, digital photos and impressions of the teeth.

TREATMENT
We believe patients of all ages can benefit from orthodontic treatment, including children and adults. In addition to creating a beautiful smile, improved dental health and an enhanced facial profile, orthodontic treatment can provide patients with a boost of self-confidence. Before treatment begins, orthodontic problems have to be correctly diagnosed at the beginning to ensure optimum results. Viewing orthodontics as both a science and an art, our doctors treat each patient’s unique case as an opportunity to create a uniquely beautiful, functional smile. Therefore, we take the time necessary to completely diagnose and explain the details of our findings with each patient.
Viewing the patient’s medical history, clinical examination and diagnostic records, we are able to make informed decisions in deciding the type of appliance that will provide you with the best results. The duration of treatment time will depend on many factors, including severity of the problem, patient growth and patient compliance. Generally, treatment lasts 24 months. After treatment is complete, retainers are worn to maintain the achieved results. Whenever possible, we avoid tooth extraction.
We highly recommend early screenings and intervention for young patients. Having an early evaluation for your child will allow us to recognize any potential problems early and manage them before they become more serious.
